Fifteen practices · one breath at a time

Choose how
you want to feel.

Pick a practice and follow the circle. Every pattern below is a slow-breathing technique commonly used for calm, focus, sleep or riding out a craving — nothing to learn, nothing to install.

Breathing exercises are for general wellness and are not a substitute for medical care. Stop if you feel dizzy, faint, uncomfortable, or short of breath. Do not force your breathing.

Save Breathfine on your phone

Breathfine can sit on your home screen like any other app — full screen, no browser bars, and it works with no internet connection.

iPhone & iPad

  1. Open Breathfine in Safari. Other browsers on iOS cannot add to the home screen.
  2. Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up.
  3. Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Name it (Breathfine is filled in already) and tap Add.

Android

  1. Open Breathfine in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu at the top right.
  3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  4. Confirm with Install.

Chrome may also offer this to you directly — if it does, an Install Breathfine row appears in Settings.

Desktop

  1. In Chrome or Edge, look for the install icon at the right of the address bar.
  2. Click it, then click Install.

Installing needs the app to be opened from a web address (https). If you are opening the file directly from your downloads, it still runs perfectly and still works offline — it just cannot be added to the home screen that way.

Privacy policy

What we collect

Nothing. There is no account, no sign-up, no email address, no analytics.

What is stored on your device

Your practice statistics (sessions completed, minutes breathed, your most-used practice and the date of your last session) and your settings (sound, ambience and volume, animation, reduced motion, default session length) are saved in your browser's local storage. That data never leaves your device, and we cannot see it.

Deleting your data

Use Clear history under Your Practice on the home screen, or clear this site's data in your browser settings. Both remove everything immediately and permanently.

Network and audio

The app makes no network requests once loaded. All sounds — the ambience, the phase chimes and the completion tone — are generated by your browser as you listen. No audio is downloaded or streamed.

Children

Breathfine is a general-wellness tool and is not directed at children under 13. Since no data is collected from anyone, none is collected from children either.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear on this screen.

Terms & conditions

By using Breathfine, you agree to the following.

Not medical advice

Breathfine offers general-wellness breathing exercises. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or psychological condition, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Nothing here should be taken as medical advice. If you have a heart or lung condition, are pregnant, have a history of fainting, panic attacks or seizures, or are under a doctor's care, please speak to them before starting any breathing practice.

Use it sensibly

Stop immediately if you feel dizzy, faint, breathless or uncomfortable. Never force your breath, never practise prolonged breath holding, and skip the holds in any pattern if they feel wrong for you. Do not use Breathfine while driving, cycling, operating machinery, or in water. You use it at your own risk.

No warranty

Breathfine is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or harm arising from its use.

Your data

Your statistics and settings live only in your browser. Clearing your browser data, using a different device or switching to private browsing will remove them. We hold no backup and cannot restore anything.

Intellectual property

The Breathfine name, logo, design and code belong to their author. The breathing techniques themselves are long-established public practices and belong to nobody.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the current version always appears on this screen.
